Apple, Sultana & Cinnamon Porridge with Apple Compote
Ingredients
- 2x apples, cut into 2cm cubes
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 sachet Carman’s Apple, Sultana & Cinnamon Porridge
- to serve Greek yoghurt
Method
- Preparation time: 5 minutes
- Cooking time: 15 minutes
- Serves: 1
1. Combine apple, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
2. Reduce heat to low and cook for about 10 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove from heat.
3. Prepare porridge as per packet instructions.
4. Serve porridge topped with freshly made, warm apple compote and a generous dollop of Greek yoghurt.
