What to Read Now
I listened to this as an audio book over summer which Michelle actually narrates herself and wow, it was brilliant. Going from a being a girl next door to the first lady is an extraordinarily brilliant story and hearing about what it is likely behind the scenes is fascinating. She is truly amazing.
Malala Yousafzai – I am Malala
Malala’s story is so incredible you struggle to put this book down. I am lucky enough to have also heard her speak; her tale of one family’s love and the values they embedded in their daughter to give her the strength and determination she has is one you just have to read.
Your Dream Life Starts Here – Kristina Karlsson
I am fortunate enough to actually be in a book group with Kristina and she is one of the most incredible women you could ever wish to meet. I cannot rave more highly about how much I loved this book and the impact it has had on my life. Life shouldn’t just be what happens when you are making other plans; she teaches you how to create the life of your dreams. If you read one book this year, this one is it! AND, because Kristina is the most generous person you could ever meet, she has offered a special discount code for anyone wishing to buy the book (or other kikki.K goodies), just use the code CARMANS when you buy it here.
