Cafe-Style Brekkies at Home

If not skipped entirely, ‘the most important meal of the day’ is often rushed, wolfed down or eaten on-the-go. Not anymore! With time currently on our side (and some of our favourite cafes temporarily closed), we’ve decided to get creative.

Adding a little variety to our home-cooked breakfast is as good for the body as it is for the soul. Bring some café-inspired flare to your kitchen with these simple 10-minute breakfast recipes. Café-style in the luxury of your fleecy PJs?  Un-skippable!

Breakfast Cluster Crumble

Snuggle up with a warm and fragrant breakfast of warm stone fruits and banana, caramelised in honey and topped with lightly toasted Golden Oat Clusters.

Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl

Peanut-butter fans, crunchy or smooth, will love this plant-based smoothie bowl, thickened with frozen banana and creamy coconut yoghurt. This simple combo works perfectly as a base to add your own delicious garnish. We love fresh forest fruits, coconut shavings or cacao nibs!

Layered Granola Jars

Four ingredients. Five minutes. That’s all it takes to create this crunchy, fibre-fuelled take on café-style granola.

Super Smoothie

Get your morning fix of antioxidants and vital nutrients from this mean, green blend of energy-loaded bananas, kiwis and wholegrain muesli blitzed together with a matcha twist.

 Chai Infused Bircher Muesli

Bircher Muesli is quick to prepare in large batches, takes only a second to serve and can keep in the fridge for a week. Add an exotic touch with this chai-inspired recipe of creamy overnight oats, juicy vine fruits and warm spices.

Fruit-Topped Porridge

No recipe needed! Simply grab a porridge sachet, follow the instructions on the pack, and top with your favourite fruit. For us, this is stone fruits caramelised on the stove so that we can stir the juices through the porridge, as in the image below.

Simple Smoothie Bowl

Got 3 minutes? You’ve got a smoothie bowl! Whiz together your favourite ingredients in a blender; we love blue and blackberries, coconut milk, water and a handful of spinach. Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite Crunchy Clusters.
